Just as you apply base coat to your nails before adding polish, or anti-frizz serum to your hair before you begin styling, priming your face before applying foundation is essential. Primer helps to fill in fine lines and pores, and evens out your skin so that you're working on a perfect canvas.
1 Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Primer
Chamomile and vitamin E provide instant hydration to your skin while creating a smooth surface for your makeup. Napoleon says, "Not to prime is a crime."
2L'Oréal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
This primer's thick, cream like formula melts flawlessly into your skin and leaves it with an almost powdery soft finish.
3 Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
This cult-favorite contains antioxidants that work to even skin texture and fill in fine lines. We love the way it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.

I just bought the L'oreal base because I ran out of the Benefit That Gal primer. I was wondering if the L'oreal base could be used daily despite its silicone properties. Will it clog pores?

i love the L'Oreal primer, but it is a bit pricey for drugstore, and the amount you get. The smashbox unfortunately broke me out really bad. I think I'll try the Napoleon Perdis one :)

I've have both Napoleon Perdis's Auto Pilot and Loreals studio secrets.
I love the Auto Pilot and its basically my main primer atm, very light and has not caused me to break out (I have sensitive skin)
Studo Secrets would only be used if I had no other option.. I really want to try Photo Finish.
