Cynthia Rowley
NEW YORK FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Zig-zagged, wayward shapes with gold accents walked down the metallic runway at Cynthia Rowley's spring 2012 show. Circle skirts and feminine silhouettes dominated the collection.
MAKEUP
Make Up For Ever Alliance artist Lottie served as key makeup artist for show, creating a clean and sporty makeup look. Lottie wanted the models to look slightly masculine, so she emphasized a strong brow and bare lips.
She first applied Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation, then contoured the cheeks using Make Up For Ever Eye Shadows in #76 and #98. Skin was illuminated with Make Up For Ever Uplight Face Luminizer Gel in #12 along with Make Up For Ever Star Powder in #902 and #974. For an extra dewy finish, Lottie sprayed the face with Make Up For Ever Sweat Effects Gel.
She lowered the brows by creating a shadow beneath them, using Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in #17 or #98 (depending on the model's skin tone). The lids were simple and nude. She coated the eyes with Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash Mascara in #1 Black and #3 in brown. Lottie kept lips bare with Make Up For Ever Moisturizing Lip Balm.
