Hang loose! Side-swept styles are a classic go-to for big nights out. Use a teeny twist to neatly gather your hair to one side. Or for more texture, divide the section you want to roll into two pieces and wind them together in a spiral.

The vintage rolled effect first made major waves at the Preen Spring Collection show during New York Fashion Week. The look was neatly structured, sweet, and inspired by ’40s hairstyles. Then, earlier this month, Scarlett Johansson mimicked the 'do with a slightly more teased version.
