Summer’s Prettiest Cropped Locks

Beachy waves, braids, big messy buns—why should long hair get to have all the fun? There are plenty of ways you can style short locks, and they don’t have to be boring. Shorter tresses mean more playtime with texture, color, and shape. For a feminine twist, curl the front of your locks back into an ocean-inspired wave like Chenda N. This could work just as well on the beach or for a summer wedding.

Make us mod! We’re slightly obsessed with Maryam M.’s choppy, boyish, bob (and her Twiggy-esque eyes!). Pixie cuts are easy to style in many different ways, allowing for plenty of creativity and experimentation. Create a side part and comb over for a sleek-chic look, or rough up your ‘do with some wax for flare.

Short hair is so fab! I just got a bob and my reference photo was a woman from the 20s. It is the first awesome hair cut i have had, seriously since i was 12 and told my stylist to give me "there's somethng about mary hair" and will be back in 6 weeks rather than frustratingly try to grow it back out lol. Maryam's hair is my favorite, also it is very flapperish! She looks too cute!
