Beauty Product Reviews

This takes everything off... serious business yet gentle...

I have written a full review on this and it can be found at <a href='http://skindeepmakeup.wordpress.com/2012/01/01/review-clinique-take-the-day-off-balm/' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>http://skindeepmakeup.wordpress.com...</a>

This balm takes everything off. It means serious business by quickly dissolving all of your makeup yet is gentle on the most sensitive of skin types. Leaves no oily residue and you don't have to cleanse your face after this if you choose not to... I do but only because I like the act of washing my face with a separate cleanser though I've used it on its' own also with no ill effects.

If you haven't tried this you don't know what you are missing... run out and get one ASAP wherever Clinique products are sold near you...

Love these... I would love them even more if they were truly waterproof. My favourite color is Madrid... a similar color would be Saphire from NYX (reg pencil) but not quite as beautiful. I love using this in the waterline even though it does not last all day... then again, the only thing that lasts on my waterline are true gel liners. It makes your eyes look bright and awake...

I tried this and it was super hard. Hurt my eyes when I tried to line them. IF I was to say that it had ANY redeeming quality, it would be that it is good as a 'sketch-out' liner for when you are drawing out intricate face designs and you want something that is true pencil-like and not deposit much color so that you can then go over it with whatever you want.

I threw mine out after 2 months of trying to work with it. Just not worth it.

Loved the color Lava but I did not like the formula.

I am in the process of trying to find a dupe of the color because I liked it so much. I refuse to buy it again however because the formula was not very long lasting.

The first liquid liner that I ever tried many years ago... The tip was not my favourite. I prefer this Almay Liquid liner to the Revlon Colorstay liquid liner any day.

I bought 2 of these based on someone else's glowing recommendation.

Hated it the 2nd time I used them. Maybe I had a bad batch, but both dried up super quickly and because it is a pen style as opposed to reloading the tip yourself, the felt tip can get dirty/grunge-y with your eyeshadow.

Total let down for me and for this reason, I have avoid pen style liners all together.... I prefer the L'oreal Lineur Intense felt tip liner, the MAC Superslick and the MUFE Aqua Liquid Liners...

These are better as bases than as eyeliners. The metallic or glittery ones tend to have the most consistency issues. I have a video review on these so you can see exactly what I mean... Go take a look on my page... Toodles...

I don't like the formula at all and don't find it to be long lasting or waterproof... only slighly water resistant. Because the applicator tip is a hard short felt tip, it is good if you want to make dots or faux beautymark.

I had high hopes for this and it was a huge let down.

Standard pencil... wide range of colors... just like the MAC liners, but without the heavy price tag. Does not tug on the eye and creamy enough to use as a coloured base... NOT as creamy as UD 24/7 which IMO is a good thing...

My favorite and go to liquid liner... This in NOT waterproof and can budge during the day. However, until I run out of my stash to buy the MAC Superslick or the new MUFE Aqua Liquid Liners, this will definately do just fine. The long, flexible foam tip gives a great line... thin or thick... easy to control...
