This video shows you how to strip your hair at home!!! Drug store color removers are very damaging. This method is a lot less damaging on your hair. Also this method is great if you have dye in your hair & just want to lighten it up a bit.

This method is not recommended for extreme lightening.
But if you have a semi or demi in your hair it works really well to remove the color.
Color could result in a very orange color that's why I highly recommend using purple shampoo with this.
You'll need
20 Volume developer (4 oz)
1 Bleach packet
I big handful for Purple shampoo, I recommend Shimmer Lights but the John Freida isn't so bad.
wet & condition hair good. Do this on damp hair. Leave on 10 to 20 mins. If you just want to remove dye slightly then watch hair closely you may only need like 7 minutes. Afterwards wash with purple shampoo & do a deep conditioner. You may have to put a semi in your hair after using this method as it could leave your hair orangey. If does them I recommend using an Ash color. Only use a Semi or Demi.
If you are using a Box dye & can't find the color you want in a semi then mix it with shampoo!!! It will make it a semi :)
Please leave comments if you have any questions!!!
Also if you leave this in for just a few minutes it works well for removing bad dye jobs. Let's say you dyed your hair & it turned way too ashy looking green or grey this will remove the weird color, but leave it in for only a few minutes.
