Tried several times to play the video tutorial but cannot. Is it possible to have some notes on how to.

First you blop a drop of polish onto a clean surface and stir it with a toothpick or dotting tool until it turns gloopy and stringy (it should form strings when you lift up the toothpick). Then you just pull the string across your nails to form the stripes. Hope that helps! :)
