Oh models, how I love them! They're like walking artwork! I blame George Michael's "Freedom" video...Naomi, Linda, Cindy, Christy...it's just too much for a kid to take! So, when I got the model package from Photogenics Media feauring Amy Kingston, I was immediately reminded of the era of the supermodel, and was ecstatic to cast her in our Spring 2012 editorial, Double Take. The dream team was put into place, including the keen eye of photographer Sean Armenta, BELLO Mag's fantastic beauty editor Mathias Alan, and moi art directing and styling.

The fashion story here was to include vibrant rainbow-inspired colors, hints of aqua throughout, and some daringly body-conscious attire! We would combine two images and play with perspective, almost like an evil twin effect. I knew Amy was our girl! So when this statuesque, bubbly, former swim-champ arrived to set, I knew we were in for a treat, but I had no idea! In front of the camera Amy exudes a self-assured, magnetic energy that's undeniable. There's nothing sexier than that.
