Look no farther than this recipe for Sweet and Spicy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds.
Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh pumpkin seeds
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pink Himalayan sea salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. black pepper
The day before cooking - rinse your pumpkin seeds to get all the "guts" off. Cover with water and stir in a teaspoon or two of salt.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 300*F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain your pumpkin seeds and dry.
In a bowl, mix together the spices and oil with your pumpkin seeds. Spread in a thin layer on your baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, stir, and bake for another 10 minutes. If they are still pale, give them another few minutes or so. It's okay if they are still chewy - they will crisp up as they cool.
Remove from the oven and let cool before enjoying!
