I try to give myself this facial once a week. It seems to really help with the overall condition of my skin and with my breakouts. It's also a nice way to unwind and just do something nice for yourself! :)

OIL CLEANSING METHOD

I cleansed my face with the Oil Cleansing Method (I used Almond Oil) by massaging the Almond oil into my skin and then removing it with a warm wash cloth.

HONEY LEMON SUGAR SCRUB

approx. 2 tbsp. lemon juice
approx. 2 tbsp. honey
Add enough sugar until it reaches a paste like consistency.

This scrub keeps well in the fridge for about a week and makes a great hand, foot & body scrub as well!

FACIAL STEAM

Add warm to hot water to a large bowl...be careful not to burn yourself! Add 3-4 drops of your favorite essential oil, tent your head over the bowl with a towel and steam for 5-10 minutes. (or less/or more! Whatever feels right for you!)

I used Lavender Essential Oil in this video which is a very calming & relaxing oil. It's also really great for acne prone/problematic skin as it has natural anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory properties. It's also quite soothing for the skin and smells divine!

HONEY MASK

I love using honey in my skincare! It's so soothing and healing for the skin and has natural anti-bacterial and ant-inflammatory properties making it great for problematic skin.

100 % PURE ROSEHIP SEED OIL

I use a variety of oils in my skincare but I really have been loving Rosehip Seed Oil lately. It's quite a lightweight oil and seems to absorb quickly into the skin. It's also very nourishing and healing for problematic skin and can help reduce the appearance of scaring left from old blemishes. Rosehip Seed Oil is a very rejuvenating and repairing oil so it's a great oil to use if your looking for anti-aging benefits!
