Hey guys,

For the last few weeks I've been heavily debating going on this medication. If you've been following my journey so far, you'd know this wasn't a decision I took lightly. I have a bad history with this medication, it doesn't fit with my personal values, and I'm scared. But a lot of you showed me support, love and encouragement when I talked about it, so I feel more confident in progressing with my treatment.

I know a few of you also said "Please don't!!" and honestly - I'd rather not take it. I have put this off a long time because I'd rather not take such a heavy, controversial medication. But the way I see it is this: My acne may subside and become less over time, but it may never fully go away. If this drug makes it go away for good, then I want to at least give it a go. I'm going to be taking notes of my progress, and talking openly about my emotions and side effects on my channel while taking it. If I have a bad episode, I'll know, and I will act.

I will probably update my blog next week about my specific treatment plan and what skincare and makeup I'm using to combat my newly dried out skin.
