Heather Heyer was buried today. Her life was cut short when she was mowed down during the horrible events in Charlottesville, Va. Where white nationalist, neo nazis and the KKK came to spread their hate. In addition to Heyer, there were two officers that died as well.

Each day the leader of our country makes me feel scared to live here but his winks and nods to these domestic terrorist groups.

Each day I feel uplifted one moment by how people are coming together to support the counter protesters in Charlottesville.

Only to feel sick again to hear the president speak on the subject.

How do YOU as a christian, go about your day, listening to the news, hearing the president speak. Going about your daily life. How do you stay strong spiritually?

This has been really depressing for me. Being against HATE seems like such a simple idea that is easy to do, yet we are still grappling with the concept as a country.

How do you stay spiritually strong?

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NIV)
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father,

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

I love the above verses especially Ephesians 3:16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
I feel like that is so powerful and it really helped me.
