Show More Hi, I'm Sheila and I'm 53 and I found MATHIAS on YouTube, and the thing that I was looking for was how to get more out of my makeup and various beauty products. My skin is completely different and the makeup that I was wearing 10-15 years ago really isn't working for me anymore. Products are all completely different and I can't keep up with it. I was looking for an expert who could help me redefine my look and freshen it up. I needed to learn about new products, new techniques, new colors.

I was looking on YouTube and I thought I would look at videos on makeup and see how the fashionistas and Beauty gurus are doing it. I watched a lot of videos. In fact, I watched hours and hours and hours of videos, and it seemed like the more I watched and learned, the more I realized I am so far out of my depth. I'm so confused now! But then I found MATHIAS and I found that his videos were so different I really stuck with them because I was LEARNING a lot about how to actually apply the makeup, about the different lines, this and that you know … and before you knew it, I realized I wanted to meet with him in person and luckily he's in Los Angeles. Well, that was perfect because I'm in Southern California too so I was able to book a session, and I have to tell you this was so worthwhile.

I can't even begin to describe it to you what I've taken away. This is going to impact me every day for the rest of my life. That PERSONALIZED ATTENTION I'm not going to get anywhere else, because it doesn't exist!

Well, for starters, MATHIAS taught me how to use my brushes properly. You know I spent a fortune on brushes and nobody actually taught me how to use them, and I’ve been trying to figure it out. Well, I'm an artist and we use brushes differently in oil painting then we do in cosmetics, so there's been a big difference in the way I'm able to just use my tools and find out which tools just really aren't serving me in my makeup. So that has been huge for me. The second thing is color. You know I'm 53 and I really didn't realize I'm mixing cool colors with warm colors and then I wonder why nothing looks right. I don't look like anybody on these Youtube videos and that's probably got more to do with it, I'm using my colors wrong. I didn't have the right colors for me at all, because I've been picking them out on my own and just trying to wing it by myself thinking, “You know maybe I’ll get it right, maybe I won't.”

This is the best time I have spent in months. This is an investment that I decided I needed to make for myself. I spend money on everything else, but how much investing do I really do in myself.

So I would say that the investment I made in time and money today is so worth it because this information and these products are going to take me through the foreseeable future. I mean I'm 53… I needed a little help and well, I sure got it. That’s what I got! I got all the help I needed and more!
