Dry Hair can make your hair brittle, hard and straw-like. When your hair is dry, it will easily break off. Here are some of the reasons why your hair may be dry.

1. You are not deep conditioning
2. You have a lot of buildup from products, dirt, pollution, etc.
3. You are not using oils the right way
4. You are keeping in your protective styles for TOO LONG. (weaves, wings, braids, etc.)
5. You are bleaching/coloring your hair

There are many other reasons why your hair could be dry but I wanted to talk about some reasons that aren't always obvious. You want to always make sure your hair is well moisturized. I hope this helps!
