♫ ♥¸.•*´ My Concept For Lust ♫ ♥¸.•*´
For the sin Lust I didn't want to a typical beauty look because frankly I wanted a challenge. So I decided to interpret it by creating an artsy look. I decided to choose one of my favorite modern artists, Henri Matisse. A lot of his work focused a lot on the female form, sometimes naked. Before his death he also developed an art style that used cut pieces of paper painted with gouache, which were then arranged together to make abstract work. Being chronically ill, this was the only way for him to continue to create but he continued to do so regardless of his limitation. His desire to create (symbolic of Lust) created these final pieces of work.
For me also I think the female form is characteristic of Lust, so I decided to turn myself into something very Matisse-esque drawing inspiration from his cut outs and one of his works, called Blue Nude II.

For starters, I drew my eyeliner to imitate the lines that signified the woman's legs, arms, etc. in Blue Nude II.
I also enhanced my cheekbones, nose, and colored myself in very basic colors. I cut out foam pieces in the shape of similar cut outs Matisse made and stuck them to my face. I also enhanced my lips to made them look more seductive.
Finally, I stuck with the color blue because Lust is actually symbolized by the color blue.
So that is why I created this makeup look for Lust ^_^
Next week is a Lunar New Year look!
