My hair recently has been dull with no volume and oiler than usual so I read clarifying helps lift dirt off of the scalp. Should I clarify my hair?

^ and since they are drying, should I use a hair mask afterwards?

Hi Sue,
Clarifying would work. I'd give it a try!
And as for the hair mask, yes, that will help.
My favourite hair mask that I could also recommend for your situation is the milk and honey hair mask.
You just need to pour some milk into a mug (doesn't matter the amount, if your hair is thicker you might need more) and then add some honey into the milk, stir, and then microwave this for about 30 seconds. Then pour this onto the hair, massage onto the scalp and through the hair, put on a shower cap and leave in for 20 minutes. Then rinse it out thoroughly.
This will get rid of the oiliness but won't dry out the hair. Makes hair shiny and strong.
Hope this helps!

Amal oil is good for brightening up dull hair color. I use the cream n put it with several creams n oils for a hair masque. (:
