What about a department store? They can match you.

I'm the exact same. I was matched by the lady who did my make up for my formal, and ever since, I just keep buying the same one, which probably isn't that great, but it's what's easiest for me.

Also it helps if you know what your undertones are.

If they look both green and blue it means you are neutral so after you get the undertone you should find yourself in the light to dark spectrum are you light, medium, medium tan or dark skinned? From your pic you look maybe medium or light.

Basically if you know your undertone and your lightness or darkness then you can find any foundation shade in any brand by looking for that undertone and lightness - if you are neutral medium or neutral light just look for those descriptive terms - if you don't find a description of the shades then you will need to test the product on your skin in the store - but most online sites have great descriptions of their shades and what the different colors mean - especially sephora.

Findation.com if you know at least one shade of foundation that matches you it'll find a match for other various types of foundations. Its great, and been spot on for me.

Findation has been pretty spot on for me. so far so good. you can try emailing companies and asking for samples. tell them what you're wearing, what you think your shade might be in their brand, and ask for the two closest colors as well.

Oh and another term for neutral Amanda is "beige" so that might help too to look for neutral beige medium when shopping online :)

Everyone shared some good advice like getting matched at a department store and looking for beige/neutral shades. If your old Revlon shade matched you well, you can google search which shades are similar across brands. I did a quick search and someone said it's close to MAC NW25 so if you know what brand you want you can search for what shade is best for MAC NW25. If you still haven't figured out which brand you want to try, do some research online for finishes that are best for your skin type. Also, Sephora has a great return policy so even if you order online you can return it for free!
