I want to try some dry shampoo since I'm using semipermanent dye but I don't think I want to commit to an expensive one.
any suggestions on a good dry shampoo that isn't particularly costly?

I have heard great things about Batiste! I haven't personally tried it, but it isn't expensive and its supposed to be awesome.

Batiste for sure! I've probably gone through 6 cans of it. I prefer the brunette version since it doesn't leave the white powder residue on my hair.

Batiste is pretty decent for the price. You can find it at Sally's too. Pssst is cheap and good too. You can often find it at Rite Aid.

Bumble & bumble dry spun works really well, doesn't leave a white residue and adds a lot of volume and smells amazing.
