Been watching a few first impressions an reviews on this product. I love bare minerals and most people seem to like it. Just wanted to see if any of you ladies had anything to say about this product before I shell out $60 for a foundation.
Thank you!!

I was in sephora yesterday and I tried a little bit of it on my hand. It is so smooth, and it blends right into the skin. I believe there's 20+ shades, so you'll definitely find a match. I think it's so worth it. Although, I'm on the fence with the brush. It seems too gimmicky.

Well, I did the same as the person above me and I can agree with her. It is soft but smashbox also has great products as well that is similar too bare minerals. So for me it's still gimmicky not just the brush but the whole idea of it. I'm also borderline as well. But if you want to try it it's always worth doing so. I'd ask the employee's to let you try it on before making a purchase. Luckily bare minerals are pretty good about it.

It does indeed look very buttery, yet I cannot shell out $60.00 for a bareminerals foundation, especially when there are name brand choices out there that cost less and are more impressive. ( Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Dior ). I'll skip on it until they notch down the price significantly.

What brush do you use instead of the brush advertised?

Bare minerals do a starter kit which is?50 here in Scotland, It has your foundation, Big buffing brush, concealer brush, primer, and a tint for contouring. I think they also throw in a concealer sometimes. maybe something to look into :)

I feel like the foundation is more for people with pigmentation problems like colors of the skin not scars bumps or texture of the skin

You definitely don't need the BM brush. I just use an ecotools buffing brush.

I actually like the brush lol I feel like it helps me keep an eye on how much product I'm using so that I can use less. I didnt buy the foundation though because I have about 4 or 5 different bottles I need to use first.
