So I've been on the search for a good, affordable bb cream for this upcoming school year. Last year I went all out for my skin and used primer, concealer, foundation and another coverage powder. While this May have covered well, my skin was weighed down and I felt like my pores were getting clogged. So this year I decided I'd only rock a BB cream and a translucent powder.
I had asked on here and done additional research and narrowed by choices down to two. The Lumene BB cream and the Garnier BB cream.
Both I paired by themselves, and to add to the test, I had some angry blemishes that were quite red. Right off the bat, Both BB creams had a good coverage with one tiny application. They both went on easy, and felt weightless.
The coverage on the Garnier was a teensy bit better along with the color but I'm quite pale, and the lumene was just a tad too dark. (Easily fixed though)
All in all, I'm definitely going to be using both!
I also purchase the Nivea Kiss of Care and Color, and honestly I am in love with them❤️ I rarely continue use with lip items, I usually am excited about them for two weeks at the longest and then get the next best thing.
Let me tell you though, these lippies are great. They go on like butter, and they smell great! The color is just a sheer tint but it enhances the natural color of your lips and makes them look gorgeous! Whenever I need a dab of color and moisture I grab these out of my bag!
The last two things I purchased were gel liners from Ulta. These were on sale so I though 'what the heck'! I bought two, in starry night and copper. The pigments are great and they glide on easily! They haven't irritated my eye at all, so I'm definitely pleased with them.
Let me know if you've tried any of these or anything else you think I should get☺️

@Katherine I have combination skin most of the time, I can get really oily though! Both did a really good job at controlling that. And I the Garnier is 13.99 at Walgreens and 12.99 at Ulta. The Lumene is 14.99 at Ulta but if you have the 3.50 off coupon which you can get online, it'll only be 11.49!

Could you do a small review on it and also include the price?

@Ramsha NYC Smooth Skin Translucent Face powder is awesome. I love it, and have been using it for months. I originally had Physicians Formula Airbrush Finish Powder and thought it was quite nice but it was pricey at 13.99! The NYC powder (in my opinion) is better than The Physicians Formula and only $2.88 at Walmart! It keeps me matte for at least 3 hours and even then I only touch it up very slightly! It comes in Translucent and a light beige color!

@Jacqlyn It is amazing though! I love both, and the color issue was easily fixed! 😊
