It seems you can't really upload anything to this app anymore without it being wrong in some sort of way.. I thought this app was to express beauty and be confident in ourselves to do so!

and shaye its Revlons matte balm in the colour 'audacious', I also used MUA red lip liner but not sure on that exact colour sorry! xx

Actually the purpose of this app is to discuss any and all beauty related things. The point of adding your products is to "contribute thoughtfully;" it's literally in the rules. Adding your products lets people know what to look at if they like your look, where they can find the shade of your lipstick, in your case. It also helps to promote conversation, for example: oh, how do you like the matte balm stains? I've only tried the regular, do you find them drying?

Do you see what I mean? That's the difference between a thread that is interesting and promotes conversation versus a selfie that should next time be posted in the photo section instead. Please don't question the rules again. My job is to enforce them, and if you truly have a problem with that, email help@beautylish.com.

Alrighty then! my apologies to the app! products used are as followed: MAC pro longwear and MAC studio fix concealer for highlighter. I use an eyeliner for brows but not sure on the make Contour is sleek contour kit in light but sometimes I use just a regular dark bronzer. Mascara is Max factor false lash effect waterproof along with curlers, lip colour is from Revlon matte balm colour audacious with an MUA red lip liner but not sure on the shade. powder used is MAC miniralize powder and brushes used are all real technique.

'why should you list the products when people aren't asking?'

Like Hannah mentioned, Beautylish is a community based on make up artistry and beauty discussions. This is not Pinterest, Instagram, WeHeartit, Look book, etc.
Everyone here is participating in terms of beauty discussions. By posting just another photo, she is creating a thread with zero value. This can push down other threads that are filled with valuable content, and even create a domino effect. The more threads with zero content are created, the less people will want to see and the less they respond. When you have that.. re-posts begin to appear and then many other threads with value are buried down and left with no answers, then more re-posts are created.
Ultimately, it creates a very bad domino effect that has risen this summer and Beautylish has been working very hard to fix. These are rules us moderators enforce in order to benefit the community, I can guarantee you by adding content you will get a lot more interest in threads and as a user in general.
I am sorry to hear that you feel these rules are foolish and just toss them aside as useless, but like Hannah said... a little respect goes a long way.
