Hey ladies...please help..I bought the babyliss straightener and am so scared to use it by myself..I have let stylists use straightener on my hair in the past with no issues..but wen it comes to me am so scared..I feel like I will burn my hair..
Should I let my straightener get hot to the highest setting..there's a red indicator and it stays red for quite sometime and the straightener gets really hot..
Should I let it turn off automatically and then use it?
Also I have seen steam coming out in case of others when they straighten hair..is that something to be scared of?
Sorry for the long post...need help..thanx :)

I wouldn't be scared I would just follow some basic rules when straightening- 1. Never EVER put hot tools on your hair when wet or damp, this will create more steam and burn your hair. 2) always use a heat protective cream or spray before straightening. This will protect and add shine. 3) do not leave it on your hair for too long, do quick passes through small sections of hair. 4)don't do it everyday! Give it a break a few days a week or more ❤️ also 5)don't let any of this make you nervous!!

The straightner is designed to not burn your hair so even at the highest setting you should be safe if you use it properly - also if you are really worried about it just try it at half the highest setting n increase gradually from there if you need it.
