I just want to know, but does shoulder length hair generally make someone look older, or younger?

Thank you. I'm currently hoping to get my hair cut to shoulder length or a little bit longer than that, and my sister just told me that would look a lot younger that way. I was just wondering. (:

For me personally it makes me look younger. I have tried it before and I didn't like it lol I prefer my long hair😊😊

It does depend but I feel shorter hair can make women look older mostly because a lot of older women have short hair because it'd make them look younger but after awhile I kinda associate short hair with older women. If you have a round face with short, blunt hair then you'll look younger has the bluntness sort of brings out the fullness in the cheeks. I also think the condition of the hair makes a huge difference. If it's straw-like and the color is dull and such it can definitely age a person whether it's long or short

Short hair can make your face look rounder which makes you look younger. Long hair makes your face longer, and makes you look older. I find medium hair is a nice mature look that always works.

Yes it can, I get told I look really young with my extensions in but then I gain 5 years by taking them out and having short hair

It depends on your general face shape an such. For me, I'm super baby faced and I always look super young. When I had longer hair people would guess my ago at like 12... And I'm almost 18! With shoulder length hair and now my pixie people have started to guess closer to my age because the cut makes me look more mature and sophisticated. I also started messing around with my clothes a little more and stopped wearing a lot of tshirts which hide the figure and make you appear younger. My age still gets guessed around 14 (although that's gotten better not that I drive). It really just depends but at least for me it worked. I have pics on my profile of my different hair lengths and you can see the difference.
