Regardless of what I do my extensions get super knotted in the back everytime I wear them! I thought it was because I bobby pinned the bottom later of my hair up (my hairs really short so it's noticeable otherwise) but I switched to clips so that the extensions wouldn't get caught on them but they're STILL getting all bunched up... HELP.

What kind do you have? I've heard of some brands becoming "matted" and tangled like that just because their not high quality.

^yeah
Or, do you use hairspray? Hairspray might aide them to tangle (happens to me)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean but I had extensions for a while and you could see my hair and it didn't blend in at all. It was because my hair was too thick and I needed more extensions.

What brand of extensions and is it Remy hair? If it's not Remy, that could be the issue. But keep in mind that extensions are delicate. My extensions tangle sometimes and they are Remy hair.
For your blending problem, sometimes it is difficult to blend shorter hair. But it also sounds like your hair is thicker. How many grams is your set? Therefore, you might need to buy another set to make it thicker. Or switch to a new brand with more grams per set.
I.e. : My friend has super thick hair. The extensions she wears (same as mine) are only 80 grams. She buys two sets so they equal 160. They blend so much better!
I have the same problem, but I'm just switching to a brand that offers a 160 gram set.
Sorry if this was long. I could talk about fake hair all day lol.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Well the blending isn't an issue, I just pin up the bottom later and the rest blends fine, they are 100% human remy hair I'm not sure how many grams they are, and I feel like if I added more extensions they would just get more matted? Hopefully it's just crappy quality extensions.

Like ill brush them and they're fine but then as soon as I move my head at all they get matted at the base of my head.

Then I would say it's the quality. What brand is it and where did you purchase them from?

Lauren the more I think about it, I take that back. Iesser quality hair WILL tangle way more, but typically all over. But no matter what, all hair extensions typically tangle at the nape of your neck. It happens to me, and most extension wearers. You can carry a comb with you to pull through the tangled hair underneath.

Putting in Argan oil can prevent tangles. Helps with my extensions
