Not sure if it's just the lighting, but maybe next time don't extend the black so high up the crease. you run the risk of looking like you got punched, lol. I would maybe also throw a highlight shade on your inner corner (: other than that the shadow looks great!

* I personally use about 4-5 different shades of shadow when creating a smokey eye c:

It's great for your first try the only thing I would say is blend blend blend. Also make sure you use a transition colour so that is nice And smokey. Just blend a lot and use more than two colours I would suggest starting by putting a dark brown in your crease and completely blending it out then go in with grey all over the lid and slightly into the crease and blend. Then go in with your black.

You did great for your first time you just need a cork color to soften the transition flow at the top. :)

I always wear a smokey eye look and I don't use 5 colors, its a easy technique that looks harder then it is.

I'll give you an easy tip and to me its the fastest for anyone to get the hang of it.If you have a gel liner you put that on your lid then you use a small blending brush and start spreading that gel liner before it sets its start to fade pass the cease a bit then you go in and add a bit of a black or espresso color and windshield wipe it with a fluffy brush then lastly you add a cork color a bit on the edge of the black or espresso (overlap) working your way up to help fade the color more and in turn will be a seamless finish that looks as if its melted onto the skin.Hoped that helped lol I tried to explain it the easiest way I could.

That lighter brown you added by the corner of your eye should be removed in that area.

I am trying to understand thanks a lot alma :) You mean to say cork colour to b applied at last? Near the brow bone?

Smokey eyes start off looking very dramatic but don't be scared the blending is the key to the prettiest mistake eyeshadow technique.

Cork color is the melting pot to the finish its the one that helps make the seamless finish.

Lol I didnt add light brown at the corner, my skin is a bit dark there or I should say I didn't wear foundation or concealer lol only eyeshadow primer.
