If I find my blush is too much I use a bit of bb cream/foundation to tone it down and blend it out :-)

Blend a little bit and don't use colors that are too harsh

Well make sure you know how to apply it according to your face structures & skin tone. For light skin tones, a rosey light pink, medium: mostly any blush color & deep: corals look best.

Try natural coloured cream blush: it looks barely there, but if you want you can layer it.

Try a natural peach or pink color and don't use too much

I do this too. but I don't use translucent powder (mainly because I don't have any now. but I use a powder brush to blend out. or if I'm using powder that day ill add powder n blend out..
