Was just wondering if anyone is an esthetician or esthetics student, how do you like it? What do you specialize in? Do you like your job? I'm currently a student & like it so far but wanted your opinions on this field. My good family friend is a facial plastic surgeon & said I'm guaranteed a job in her office. My plan is to do the medspa side & then take makeup courses at nights when I graduate.

I'm a estheticain hun and I love it ,I'm certified in microdermabrasion advanced peels ,warm stone therapy,waxing ,root causes,and a bunch of other things I got all while in school I think you get out of it what you put into it when you get on the floor always be the one who volunteers to take clients and don't be afraid the more you work on clients in school the more comfortable you will feel when you get out ,and I love my job ,and if your guaranteed a job that's awesome just practice your state board as much as you can and good luck.
