How do get my hair to not be so frizzy when I curl it or straighten it? And when it's just down or in a ponytail...?

Is your hair dry by any chance? Frizzyness can be caused by dry hair.
What hair type do you have?

Well you can try moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, a heat protector will help when you use heat tools, and there are a bunch of sprays and serums for hair designed to smooth it down :) I like Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Ginger styling treatment oil :)

Try using serums c: they work pretty well with frizzy hair. Also when you rinse off your conditioner, leave some in. Not too much but a little. You should not rinse everything off. heat protectant gets rid of some of the frizzy hairs before you curl or straighten. (: hope I helped

Tresseme heat defeat helps even when you don't heat style, and it's not too heavy.

I use a leave in conditioner and apply products (gel usually) to completely wet hair, then dry using squeezing motions with an old t shirt.
