Any suggestions on the best braid type to enhance your curls? The last time I did it I did a french braid on both sides and ended up with crimped, crazy hair.

:) thanks!

It really depends on your hairtype and the type of look you're going for.

Maybe these type of curls? But I just read up on the headband braid method and it looks good so maybe I'll give that a go! Thanks!

Well, my hair is naturally wavy that takes easily to curling & straightening, so with my hair texture, I would do regular braids, probably 4 braids, with moderate tightness. In other words, I wouldn't make the braids too loose or too tight. But that's for my hair. Your hair is going to react differently so you're going to have to experiment with how many braids and the tightness. But I would stick to a basic braid so it doesn't come out too crimpy or frizzy. I like using a product to reduce frizz and enhance curl before braiding and of course DO NOT brush your hair when you take the braids out.

Perfect, thanks! I think I made them way too tight last time and maybe that's why it came out a bit off.

Okay, headband braid is not that easy. Think I just tangled the crap out of my hair. We shall see how this turns out in the morning but I think all I'll have is a line from the headband!

Thanks! I did the headband braid and took it out because the only headband I had really cut off my circulation actually. I had such a headache after. Plus, my hair was too tangled to let it stay in like that.
