I have deep purple circles under my eyes. I have tried so many different things. Any ideas on ways to cover and or how to get rid of them?

I think you should try a concealer that has a yellow tint to cover purple under eyes circles :)

To cover them, a salmon colored concealer like the Bobbi Brown or Benefit Erase Paste will surely work. As for getting rid of them, if they're due to genetics there isn't much you can do. If it's thin skin, a good undereye moisturizer might help. It could also be lack of sleep, dehydration or allergies. What have you tried?

Dark circles are usually genetic. the skin is thinner under the eyes and you can also be born with skin thinner than usual in that area as well. it is caused by either excess melanocytes which cause pigmentation, or blood vessels showing thru the thin skin in that area. if you experience other pigmentation problems or it could be from allergies, sun exposure, aging, and many other things. if you are able to determine what's causing the dark circles you will have better luck treating it. if it is caused by excess melanin production, there are whitening products I've got my mom on dermalogica chroma white but the problem with those treatments is they have to be used continuously because when use is stopped itll continue. Sorry if this isn't making sense I'm writing this in between taking clients. but if you can figure out whether pigmentation or blood vessels is causing your dark circles with the help from a dermatologist itll be much easier to treat it compared to trying many expensive products.

Thanks every body, I'll try to figure out what's wrong, but for now I will try new concealer.

Definitely use a concealer with a salmon undertone. Smashbox under eye hydrating primer has a pink time to it, and Mac's Prep and Prime in Radient Rose is great for purple circles.

Concealer, that is lighter but will cover and look good and really just the normal concealer you use will help,I highly recommend it.:)

Like a pinky color and light just make sure it matches your skin tone and it's your regular concealer...

Personally a concealer that has more yellow in it works better for me...pink colored concealer looks ridiculous on me XD So if you find that the pink concealer isnt working I sugest the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Sand Sable. Its a pretty yellow concealer so I like it :) But if you like the pink concealer I suggest getting the pink tinted Maybelline Age Rewind Undereye concealer.

Belma I'm also a MUA and I've not heard of the honey treatment! (That's what I love about Beautylish, I learn so much from ladies like you on here). Can it be regular honey, like the kind that comes in the bear shaped jar? Or does it need to be some organic thing or something like that?
