What I have been doing recently is using a matte primer. I have been using the one from ulta and it works pretty well. On top of that I use Rimmel Londons bb cream it's also matte. It's really nice and covers up a lot of imperfections. I guess you can say I'm a drugstore makeup person but if it works why spend over $30 when you can spend under $10
I hope this helps you.

I've heard great things about Estée Lauder's double wear, and the hourglass immaculate foundation. Also, if you can get your hands on it, covergirl's 3 in 1, or revlon Colorstay whipped foundation.
