Help with suggestions on face primers for dry skin!

I'm really trying to look for a good primer that will help my foundation last pretty long, but not sure I want to spend a ton of money on it! Suggestions for any for dry skin?

Smashbox may have one that works. I'm sorry I can't be of more help because I have oily skin. Most primers though are meant to control oil and can dry you out so when buying one look for ones that say hydrating, luminous, highlighting etc.

Oh, and I've used smashbox before and I liked it for staying power but (the original primer) didn't do much for oil so I don't use it often.
