I'm doing my grandmas makeup for Christmas Eve. I don't know what kind of makeup to do on her. She usually just wears foundation and concealer. She's in her 60s.

You could do a nude color with a bold lip or you can do a light color lip and you can do a shimmer eyeshadow

When I do my mom's makeup, (She is 73) I use creme shadows, or nyx jumbo stick shadows because she has very, very crepey lids and powder shadow just doesn't work. I use just a bit of mascara and a little liner in the upper outer corner, to keep from making her eyes appear heavy or saggy.
She has hazel eyes and likes bright colors, so we usually do something fun like lilac or light light blue, with just a touch of a darker color in the outer corner (I try to stay away from putting darker shadows on her because they just key into any darkness she might have under her eye. I've done an eye look on her that was kind of a soft shimmery gold with a touch of taupe in the outer corner. It was nice with her skin and eyes and was very festive.
For blush, I use her regular blush which is a very deep plum, with a touchof extra pink near the apples of the cheeks (Don't go crazy with this, because you don't want her to look clownish), but older people often lack that natural flush that young folks have. Lips, I do whatever she'd like, usually a deep plum MLBB shade, nothing too crazy, but whatever I do, I use Paula's choice wax lip liner which prevents feathering into wrinkles around the mouth. (Too faced, Pixie and ELF also have wax lipliners, I believe). This is especially important if you are going to do a bold lipstick. If you don't have one of those, you can use a q-tip to get a little concealer over any feathering.
Also, you may consider adding either a little moisturizer or an illuminator to her normal foundation. It depends on how hip she is, but my mom hasn't changed her foundation in 30 years. And a little extra shimmer, will definitely add that youthful glow, plus it's Christmas, ya know. Those dewey fixative sprays can work for that too, especially if her foundation is a powder. (As is my mom's.)
Also concealer: if your Gran isn't using it, try to get her to use a liquid concealer. Cream concealers have a tendency to settle in wrinkles. Age rewind is great for dark spots (liver spots) and dark circles that older women often have.
