My personal favorite from this year is the Urban Decay Vice 3, I think. I like the fact that it's almost exactly half neutral and half colored, I think that the colorful shades are really beautiful and unusual, but that they all work well together. I also like the way that it's set up, with each column designed as a specific shade range/with a specific look in mind. So I think that would be my favorite.
I also ended up with the Too Faced Everything Nice and the Sugarpill Sparklebaby palette, both of which I really like, though I'm not too sure how to create a look with only the Sugarpill palette and not look crazy.

I don't find it to be chalky at all, I think it's awesome, super smooth, really rich colors.

My favorite palette release for the holidays is probably the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna palette. The colors are amazing. I didn't fall for the Lorac Mega Pro because I had a lot of similar colors. The Too Faced one was cute but I hardly use my holiday palette from last year.
I've been nuts for the MUFE single shadows lately. I bought like 9 more during the sephora sale haha. Overall, I think I'm set with eyeshadows until the Anastasia ones hit the stores in a couple months!

Oh Hannah I have been trying my hardest not to buy the Vice 3 (I honestly go to ulta and look at it longingly like once a week) and after your looks and reviews I really really really really want it even more

I'd love to look up some holiday palettes and let you know which ones tickle my fancy. One I like but that's not really holiday is the Dior Trafalgar that you suggested me to look at...which I can't currently find on the website anymore, now that my no-buy is up!! :(
