Try a probiotic it could be your insides too. Have you ever heard of lush? They have handmade organic products; I started using a face wash, toner, and moisturizer from them and my skin is softer than its ever been, I have less breakouts, and I'm less oily!

I've had moderate to severe acne, and I've struggled with it for years. Now I don't have any acne at all, but had to go through many different skin products, dermatologists, doctors, and estheticians before I found one that worked.

The problematic areas you are describing are hormone related breakouts. While using products might help as a preventative and controlling measure, it may not be adequate for your issue. One way is to try different products to see if they work, but if you are similar to me, then the products work for about 2-3 weeks, and then stop working.

One thing to do is to research what non-comedogenic ingredients are. It's not a long list, but many breakouts are related to certain ingredients present in skin products. I've done my research as well, so don't necessarily think that just because a product is labeled 'natural' or 'organic', it is good and gentle to your skin. At any rate, you can start there, by looking at ingredients. Like for example, avoid sodium chloride for anything that goes on your face.

Another route is medications, pills. You seem healthy, so I don't think that taking another vitamin or supplement will 'cure' your problem. I've been prescribed antibiotics for my acne, tried all sorts of 'anti-acne' supplements, drank a lot of water, etc. The only thing that worked for me, finally, was taking spironolactone, and birth control, one with a higher estrogen level. In 2 months, my oiliness was almost reduced by 80%, and acne gone by about 6-8 months.

I'm not saying that you should just try medications, like the ones I'm on, but I wish that I had known sooner that this would be the key to solving my acne problem. I'm 33 and have had acne since I was 15, and have been clear for a year now. I have many acne scars, and have had many lasers since to correct it, but the damage is already done. I just wished that someone had told me sooner, what my options were.

For moisturizer I use a gel based one, with hylauronic acid (absorbs easily, not greasy at all, and gentle for skin). I also use benzoyl peroxide (10%) nightly, and wash with a green tea cleanser. Also, I use sunscreen everyday. Sunscreen is important if you have breakouts, especially if you pigment easily, like I do.

Go to a dermatologist to determine what's best for your skin.

Dermatologists may help, but in my experience they only prescribe antibiotics and laser treatments that don't work, since their sole speciality is not acne. Best to hunt down a good esthetician, one who can explain why some ingredients are good and bad. If you bring your face product to a dermatologist of esthetician, and they can't tell you what ingredients are good and bad for you, then they don't know shit.
