I have fine hair and I can style it in the morning and by the afternoon it looks oily...I've tried paul mitchell shampoo and conditioner and now I'm using deva no poo...I just want to style it and it still look good in the afternoon..ugh...

Are you doing the curly girl method? there will be a transitional period after switching from sulphates to no poo cleansing. in meantime I'd suggest a dry shampoo for touchups and between cleansing. also make sure your product for styling isn't too heavy for your hair type

Or non water soluble silicone in them. they will also weigh your hair down if not using sulphates to remove them

Landry I'm not sure what you mean by curly girl method...I recently bought a curling wand...I use kenra thermal styling spray it.my hair doesn't seem to get oily only when I wear it straight.
