I've been thinking about getting my hair permanently straightened/relaxed. My hair texture changes at times. Right now it's frizzy and really curly. When it was curly I got it relaxed at a salon and it seemed to help. Since that was around 6 years ago I'm wondering if there are any new hair treatments I don't know about. Also, does it matter if I do it to just dyed hair?

Relaxers are chemicals so usually if you just dyed your hair, the stylist will tell you to wait several weeks before relaxing your hair.n.

Relaxers are great and most can be used within 72hrs of a colour service. joico has a nice one called maintaimer best one I've used and most gentle. for a less perminant option you can go for a keratin blowout that lasts up to 6 weeks + depending on the brand etc. good luck!
