Hi Gemma! So revlon makes some really good red lipsticks and they have shades that they've used since the 50's I have one and it's called certainly red. I can swatch it for you.
But as for other makeup , do winger liner, a simple neutral eye, and then red lips(: for the hair you should look up tutorials on how to do victory rolls(:

My absolute favorite red lipstick is Chanel's New York Red, but I confess that I haven't tried that many reds. I kinda found one I loved and stuck with it.

I recently did a 50's pin up look for a client and I used Mac's Ruby Woo. It can be rather dry but it also has staying power.
