I used to bite my nails but very recently I stopped but the thing is my nails are a weird shape. How can I restore them back to their normal shape before I was biting them? I had this bad habit for like 3 years btw here's a pic of them now:

It looks like they are super thin, so you can try a nail strengthener. You can get them at the beauty store (ulta, Sally's, probably target, etc) and they're only a couple dollars. They can make your nails brittle, though. A DIY strengthener is jojoba oil (makes nails strong AND flexible, so they don't break). You can also chop up or purée some garlic and add it to the oil; it is also good for strengthening nails.

Just let them grow and file them so they all look even. Another thing that helped me was to always always keep my nails painted. That way no matter what your nail looks the underneath the polish it won't matter because you won't see it :)

Just be a little wary of painting your nails too often, if they're still thin and weak. Keep them painted quite often if it helps, but remember to give them a few days to "breathe" once a week or so. Make sure you're getting plenty of protein, zinc and iron and your nails should grow to be nice and strong! Making sure you have good iron levels will help stop the shape of your nail distorting. As with anything, it's best to check with a doctor before taking supplements though. In the meantime, invest in a good nail file and round off the edges to give them all a uniform, even shape. Hope I helped! :)

Keep hydrated, and eat well. Also, one thing a lot of people don't realize is that a healthy nail is born from a healthy cuticle. Honestly yours look in pretty rough shape. To keep my cuticles in good shape I rub Olive oil on them... Another good product I love is Burts Bees cuticle cream.

The Lemony Flutter cuticle butter from Lush is gorgeous, too. A little goes a long way!
