Hey y'all! I have a cherry red hair color right now that I need to get rid of without dye. Is it any color remover products that returns your hair to its natural color without damage?

I'd go to the salon, fade it out with dish soap or dye over it. I've never had luck with the at home color removers like the ion one or color oops. They all make your hair smell bad for weeks and they definitely damage it.

Yea I still have red in my hair. It's been almost a year. I highly suggest going to a salon. That's what I'm going to do but I'm chopping the red hair off

If it's just semi perm I would just wash your hair lots. And using baby shampoo, harsh dandruff shampoos or dish soap fades color quickly.

First wash out as many of the red you can, then go to Sally's Beauty Supply & get the One N Only hair color remover. Use part 1 & 2. DONT use part 3 because it just basically adds the red back in. The product stinks though! It takes out the red & turns it into a yellowish-orange. Then just dye a color you like. That's how I got rid of my red hair. It also doesn't feel stringy afterwards like how it would feel if you bleach it. So I definitely recommend that product. Hate the smell though.

Rose, she used semi permanent dye, it says even on the packaging that it won't remove semi permanent colors. I've tried all of them and they maybe lighten it a shade, but they also make it a lot harder to remove afterwards since it technically is similar to bleaching (by removing color) and with semi permanent colors that can cause staining of the hair, making it near impossible to get out even by bleaching.

She also doesn't want to use dye, so it would just make everything worse. Semi permanent fades after a few weeks/months depending how much you wash your hair anyways, so if she just uses harsh shampoos it'll be gone in a few days :)
