I've seen this a few times. If you try it, can you please let me know if it works?

Use Lemon to Get Rid of Blackheads Overnight From Nose and Face

Also known to have antiseptic and antioxidant properties, the lemon makes it a popular home remedy for removing blackheads from the nose and face. Since lemon is quite acidic, dilute its juice in small amount of water to not irritate skin. Add salt to the mixture to make it more effective. Apply the mixture to the face and nose. Leave it overnight and wash it in the morning with lukewarm water. The salt and the natural acid capability of the lemon, make a perfect combination in drying up blackheads. Instantly, you will feel that your blackheads are lessened. Your skin will be more clean and glowing.

There are serious dangers to putting lemon on your face. Putting citrus on your face can cause a phototoxic reaction called phytophotodermatitis, an inflammatory reaction that results in bruise-like hyperpigmentation, with the potential for nasty-looking blisters and burning. It's often mistaken for chemical burns. it is dangerous, painful and really not worth it. Read about it here where less than 3 minutes can trigger a huge reaction on rats. Even sunblock didn't prevent it. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16313243/
Baking soda is too harsh for skin too, it can cause micro tears causing more problems later.

For blackheads I would just get bior strips or egg whites. :)

And copper, that's not an article it was a user posted post. Just like this one, so it was probably copied and pasted from a website.

Copper I think you're being quite rude to Alexis and she really does not deserve that.

Hi Alexis, I'm so happy that you can gather up the courage and confidence to express your opinions through a virtual platform. It's truly inspiring to see that the world has evolved to a place where people that are not beautiful can give beauty advice with full vigour.

Yes it's a place for people like you to feel good when you still look ugly after 13 makeup products :)

Wow, that's not alright copper. That's really rude and BL is not the place to insult people just because they burst your thoughts on something and use science to back themselves up. Alexis was not at all being rude to you and does not deserve to be called ugly (when she is indeed very beautiful) and just because you don't agree with her scientifically true warning about lemons does not give you the right to be rude to anybody.

Um copper, I'm sure you realize this, but you don't have a picture of your self as a profile. Why is that? Alexis uses ONLY 13 makeup products and looks like a freakin model but how many do you have to use to get to her level? 20? 30? Maybe even 40 isn't enough. The reason you are so rude to her is because she's wayyyyyy prettier then you. Back off, like seriously, juts because she's correct and pretty format mean you can be rude😒

Copper, please don't start insulting someone just because your pride is hurt. You gave information that hasn't properly been researched, and you were simply called out on it not being a good idea due to scientific fact. If you're too immature to accept the information you gave was wrong and turn to childish insults instead, maybe this isn't the place for you.

And to answer the OP, blackheads rarely disappear completely without extraction, but clay masks and good face oils do help :)
