For some reason I actually cannot blend eyeshadow. It always ends up looking awful or else it blends into one shade and you can't tell I've used multiple. I watch YouTube tutorials all the time but it doesn't work for me. I really want to use my naked 2 palette to do a sexy smoky eye. Any tips would be helpful!

Try to focus on blending right where the two colors connect. Don't blend all over the lid (that results in the one color effect.) hopefully I helped!

For me I feel like if I don't have a nice brush, my makeup sucks lol. I would invest in a good blending brush. I use sephoras blending brush from their airbrush line. I know a lot of people like mac blending brushes too. I also suggest you use a eyeshadow primer. I really like the urban decay primer potion:)

What I do, I take a really fluffy brush. (I used the elf flawless concealer brush from the studio line) and then take a lighter color, for example I use the naked basics pallette every day and I blend everything out with foxy and by using the lighter color it makes it less harsh but dosent take away from the look.

You need to invest in a good brush, Mac's 217 is beautiful for blending. You can blend in a side windshield wiper motion or in circular motions.. I do it at an angle as well.. brush facing downwards works great for me.

What I do if it looks like it took product away is after I blended most of it grab the same color on your blending brush and blend the color into the part that looks faded and I use a coastal scents blending brush and also an it cosmetics blending brush

Another thing, if your blending brush isn't completely clean the pigment left on the brush will muddle the eyeshadow color.
