Hey everyone,
I woke up this morning with a really bad rash on my face, and I found out that it's a reaction.
My 6 year old cousin put my sisters makeup on my face yesterday, and I never use ANY makeup at all (not ever- I have a strong dislike of makeup) so my skin reacted to it quite severely.
Now I have these red bumps all over my face, swelling, and my skin is itchy.
I don't want to irritate the skin even more, so I don't want to exfoliate, and I don't know if acids in skincare products will make it worse! I don't know what to do!
Can anyone suggest some more gentle products or tricks to soothe my skin and hopefully get rid of this ASAP?

Okay, how itchy are we talking? It could actually be a skin infection, I've had one of these from using a cheap product I hadn't tried before and it sounds like you're having a similar problem.

It took me about a month before I realised it wasn't just a reaction and by the time I'd gone to the dr my face had scabbed up in certain places from me itching at it. They'll give you a cream for it and within a couple days it'll be gone :) that's just what it sounds like to me but if you're certain it's just a reaction perhaps someone else might answer to help a little more.

You're welcome :) better to catch it early Incase. I told myself it'd go away and a few weeks passed and it just got worse and even more itchy, would never want anyone else to go through that haha :)
