Ok so I'm in a wedding next summer I know far away... but I need suggestions about a good foundation that will with stand the heat and not melt off my skin and look gross if I sweat.

That's such a tough one...I live in hot humid Florida and I've good luck with Laura Mercier's new Flawless Fluide foundation which gives me a matte finish without looking flat and parched. You also might want to look into a really good primer. I've paired Hourglass Mineral Primer under Laura Mercier's Flawless Finish Fluide foundation just in my t-zone and forehead and it held up pretty well. My skin prespired a lil bit but my makeup didnt melt down my face. And since both are oil free they really make for a great working relationship. And to seal the deal you could top it off with one of Urban Decays setting sprays. I can't comment on its effectiveness personally because I tried it once and it burned the heck outta my skin.

Well now is the best time to start looking, that way you can test run several to make sure its "the one" lol. Since your looking for medium-full coverage, my suggestions would be mac pro longwear, I just got this and love it, but I've read a lot of people get break outs from it, I have really easy going skin though...next would be Este Lauder double wear, I used this during all my teenage years and it is so awesome, then I didn't want to spend the money anymore for a long time, then they changed the colors so I don't have a good match anymore :,(...and Smashbox studio skin 15 hour wear, I got a huge sample of this and wore it for several weeks and was pleased, looks nice, but ever so slightly oily on me after a while. These are all long wearing durable full coverage foundations that I believe fit the bill...But, there are lots of other long wear foundations too, so just try them all out :) if you live in the states you can always return any product within the time limits and with the receipt

I've really been eyeing up Laura Mercier's stuff lately Shelley, I got a deluxe sample of her SPF 30 primer and I *love* it. I think I might try the fluid foundation next time around if it's long wearing :D

I would use a fixative spray so that the make up adheres to the skin, setting sprays only help a very tiny bit. Ben Nye has a fixative spray and it's definitely inexpensive, your make up will last all day... this way you don't change your foundation and spend extra cash.

Estée Lauder double wear really stays :) and has such a pretty finish. I live in Mississippi and it's so humid here and it works great :)

Thanks everyone... I am not sure if double wear has a shade light enough... I 've only looked online though.. I'll look into those suggestions thanks
