First and foremost, I DON't want to hear any negative opinions on tattoos. Thank you.

Anyways! It's that time again! On to my second tattoo, in a few months, yaaaay. I need help on placement. I was planning on getting a sleeve, with a general theme(mainly roses, for a certain reason) I don't know, though.

I'm getting something like this, NOT this exact design, but just so you get the gist.. Should I get in on my inner forearm? Or on the thigh? Any other placement suggestions? I've got so many different tattoos planned out, so many different concepts.

I just don't want things randomly placed every haha. So I'm wondering if it should be on the arm, where I've already got roses on the shoulder area. My forearm is so small though, so that is why I'm iffy on that placement. Hmmm, what y'all think? Hope I made sense haha.

I love skulls and roses, I feel like it'd fit! Haha. Hmmm. It just sucks having such small arms lol. I got you, though. Thank you Alexis :)

I think forearm would be best. Thigh pieces are such statement pieces, and usually they are big and I feel like you're like me and in a few months you'll find something and go "I want __ on my thigh" lol. Plus if you do get a sleeve, I think this would blend really well since it does have roses. It'd be a statement piece for sure in a sleeve but it wouldn't look like it doesn't belong lol. And that way if you do get a sleeve you'll have something to base it around, roses, but you won't have to just do roses for it to stay on theme. If that makes sense lol.

Personally I think I'd go somewhere on the arms. But either way it'd look cool :)

Oh I like that placement too Liz! That's what I was going for, for this piece to stand out the most in the sleeve haha that's why I wanted it based more in the middle!

I agree with Liz that placement would be awesome. But the thigh has more room

That pic liz posted is an amazing placement. if not I think forearm is nice too. my friend got a statement piece like your pic and shes now continuing it all the way up and it really looks good.

And I think itll look good and match since you have the shoulder tattoo with roses already!

Arm, if you want to work on a sleeve it will go perfectly with the roses.

Okay I know this is random, and not near where you where talking about but I think this design (which is beautiful btw) would be so gorgeous on your lower back!

Inner forearm for sure! It doesn't matter that you have slender arms ☺️ a good artist will help with the placement much more than we can. Seeing the stencil applied (IMO) is the best way to solidify placement. Anywho I think it'd work best there BECAUSE you have small arms, a bold piece will flow well and as mentioned it keeps the theme so you can go in another direction on your legs etc.if you choose. Have fun!

First of all..love the design!! You are my skull and roses twin🌹lol I have very slender arms as well and was worried about the placement of my piece. I decided when I started my sleeve to put my skulls on the outer part of my forearm and build from there. I'll add a pic. My artist totally made it work. You'd definitely be able to rock it on your inner forearm😉 Can't wait to see it! Cheers babes!💋

I agree with Maggie - once it's drawn up you can ask the artist to print it at two sizes, one on inner forearm and one on your thigh. Seeing both actually on you will make it a lot easier to decide.

Personally I like forearm, I think it would blend really well and be a good focal point in a sleeve of roses!
