I havld the exactsame problem,don't try fixing them yourself biggest mistake I made lol, wait like 3 weeks and they should start blending together.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do once your hair is cut, but mine have blended in a lot better, they used to be blunt and looked very mullet like):

Yeah I had the same problem except my hair curled a bit when it was shorter so it didn't look as bad. It will grow out pretty quick though and blend nicely. It's been 3-4 months and my hair looks really nice and it has a lot of movement. Hair styles are hard though since it hot in TX an it's hard to keep up. But everything will get easier once it a little time to grow out.
