Personally I feel that most girls actually like getting opinions and tips from both genders, and since its mostly from girls, guys giving advice is a great change! As long as its good advice but I'm assuming it is haha :)

Yes! As long as a make up guru has good knowledge on what they are talking about, act friendly (not fake) and most of all cater for different people (dark skinned, lighter skinned, higher end, drugstore, men and women).
