I personally don't like eyeshadow on my face but I know for sure it takes a lot of blending for the smoky wye.

That looks so pretty the eyeshadow is blended perfectly I think a little wing with black liquid liner would bring the whole look together.

I LOVE this sooo much. blending looks great but I feel like if it was darker closer to your lash line your eyes would pop even more. but this look is just amazing.

@Anna. It'a not a smokey eye if it has a wing.

It look really nice Lisa!

Looks good. I wouldn't add liner but maybe use wet shadow to "line" the top lid. My only concern is the shadow seems to be creasing a bit? Did you use a primer or a base?

Love it!! Wish I could do that and make it look good on me :)

A true smoky eye has no winged liner 😉 first off, let me congratulate you for using the term "smoky eye" correctly
From what I can tell, your shadow blending is perfect. If you used a base or a creamy liner under the shadows, that should be blended a teeny bit more. This is gorgeous! go you! xox

@Renay thank you for being so lovely!
@Bree I did actually! I do see what you mean, it could also be a blending problem :)
@Em Yeah I agree :)
@Kaitlin Thank you haha! That's super sweet of you. I guess the entire thing could use a tad more blending...

Thank you lovely people! <3

My advice would be to use a black base on your lid underneath the shadow. This will richen the value and intensity of the color. Another option would be (since you already have product applied) to add a black shadow atop what you already have, to the bottom half of your eyelid. Then blend until there are no sharp or harsh edges/lines.

Now a traditional smokey eye does not have winged liner. You can use liner as your black base for your lid, but traditionally it doesn't include distinct eyeliner in the look.

You do have the concept down, just a little practice at darkening and blending and you'll be good. I also recommend a crease proof primer.
