My acne makes me very insecure. I won't look people in the eye or feel pretty anymore because of how much acne I have. I do not wear foundation because I'm convinced it causes early aging, so I do not cover them up at all. I've had acne for as long as I can remember. I've tried EVERY FREAKING BRAND. Clearasil, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Proactiv, Biore, you name it. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I'm afraid that if I go to a derm itll take to long or won't work.

About a month ago I went to a derm and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He prescribed me with a pill and also with epiduo and my skin has never been this clear! So all in all I say go to a derm yes it may take time but in the end it's so worth it!!

Dam I'm sorry for what your going thru, I think derm will be your best option tho, they can determine what kind of acne it is and treat it...now if your willing to give a product another shot I will definitely recommend Mario Badescu products his products cleared me up I saw almost immediate result, you can go online or give em a call they ask you a couple questions regarding your skin/skin condition and send little samples ( a full system; wash, tone, moisturizer for day and night, mask and eye cream) I absolutely love his line! I've also read nothing but great things for Paulas Choice, I'm going to try her line next.. hope I helped:)

My boyf has just started his accutane prescribed from a dermatologist. His skin is already improving. The only way you can improve your skin is going to the doctor's/dermatologist. keep your head high. I know it's hard as I watched my boyfriend in through it. There is light at the end. so hang in there xx

Defiently go to a doctor I have had acne for 5 years now and nothing helped and recently started talking tablets and I am already noticing the benifits. All my friends where makeup but I don't want it to make them worse and I just try not to touch my face to much and don't use anything harsh on your skin. I hope you get it sorted out

Awww...don't be insecure about it! You're beautiful! I think going to a derm would be best...I am probably going to go soon to because like you, I have tried almost everything. Good luck Massiell! 😘
