I would suggest the brand Shea Moisture. This product will most likely just moisturize instead of define :)

The shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie... it defines curls beautifully and has moisturizing ingredients. Its my favorite product. I apply it after I wash my hair and nothing else.

I used this and I did not like it whatsoever. However, when I gave this to my mom she really like it and it defines her curls.
